i just got it like 30 minutes ago... rode it around the neighborhood a little and it was AWESOME!

Careful riding in the rain, ride in the tire tracks of other cars always. There is less water there and no oil slicks. Also, make it a habbit to ride on the left or right portions of your lane, It helps you stay away from gravel and dirt collected in the center of the road.

...and take it easy on those new tires for the first 100 miles. They won't have max traction until worn in a bit. Rain + new tires = slow down on the turns a bit more.
