Battery question.

Hi all,

Do any of you find that your horn sometimes doesn't work for the first mile or so? On occasion I've gone to use mine after start up and nothing happens.

Cold nights don't seem to cause the problem, I'm thinking it is caused by short rides (kinda rare w/ me) where I use the starter instead of kick starting. (I ruled-out the wiring, at least on the horn end but not in the switch itself.)

If that's the case, is this just a limit of the battery's capacity or is the battery wearing out? Never had a problem starting up or with the turn signals/light.

I have a similar problem with my 750 Yamaha if it starts hard on a cold morning but that seems to charge back up as soon as I get moving.

Never had this problem... doesn't seem right. My horn works as soon as the key is in the "on" position.
