INSTALLING WINDSCREEN

Post by ferfdom »

I installed my new windscreen a few days ago, but no matter how much I mess around with it just doesn't seem to be sitting right. Of course, the instructions that came with it were NOT in English, so I did the best I could with the diagrams.

So here is my questions...

Is the windscreen supossed to attached to the long side or the short side of the V shaped rod?

I haven't tried that switch yet, since it would be the biggest pain in the arse.

Thanks for your help!

If you are talking about the cuppini short windshield, the short end of the V on mine goes over the handlebars, the long ends on the windshield.

Okay... That's how I've got it.

I found in a search where someone bent the V a bit, maybe I should to do that?

It's not really a big deal. It's just an aesthetic thing.

It works great! I feel a lot more comfortable at higher speeds now that I don't feel the wind on my chest as much!
