I was looking at NCY's website since genuine carries a few of their products, they have TONS more on their main website.

should we just start sending emails and phone calls to genuine / scooterworks asking if they carry this performance part or that performance part... and see if they can start ordering them for us? I mean, they are planning on selling what, 10,000 buddies this year... next year will be even more. There has to be demand for these products growing around the country...

Right now, it would be good if everyone could just meet the demand for scooters!MikieTaps wrote:should we just start sending emails and phone calls to genuine / scooterworks asking if they carry this performance part or that performance part... and see if they can start ordering them for us? I wouldn't count on Genuine/Scooterworks to start carrying most of these parts. For one thing, they have their own line of performance parts (Prima) and I think more are in development. Second, because they are the primary importers of the scoots, I think owners would expect them to have a greater responsibility for offering products which they have tested extensively. Third, I don't know who imports and distributes NCY parts now, but they may have a deal with a single distributor, as many foreign companies do (like PGO for instance).
I think it would be better to find out who currently imports the NCY products and ask them about expanding the product line to include more of what's available for the PGO scoots.
