Pics of your front rack in use?

Post by BadgerJenn »

OK, I mounted my new front rack, but I'm a bit confused by the physics at work here. The spring is very tight. I tested out a few objects and it immediately puts the death grip on them. This can't be right. Can I see pics of your front racks in action holding non-crushed objects? I've searched all over the interwebs and everything I find is an empty rack just looking pretty.
Thanks

You have to put something on there that's either heavy enough to resist the spring, or large and uncrushable. If you're trying to carry a roll of paper towels on there it's going to get pinched!

I'll pop some zip ties under the seat along with my bungies. I can't wait to do some grocery shopping with the new rack on. (wow that sounds boring, but seriously I'm terribly excited about loading the new girl up)
