What color buddy should I get??

Post by dakims »

I'm pre-ordering a buddy 125 so I'd like so input on what color I should get. Obviously it's a choice of personal taste but what about the best for resale value and maybe theft deterring and visibility? I was looking at black mainly. They don't make the sunset with the brown seat anymore right?

As far as visibility I would think the red would be more visible than the black. . .

Of course, I think the red one looks great this year. :)

Get the one that you really really like. That's the best one.
My wife was sold on the seafoam gree uhhh, zombie blood, until we walked in to pick it up and she saw the sunset orange with brown seat. Quick switch and paper work redo and now we have the sunset.
I still like the zombie blood but its her scoot.

I got a black one a couple of weeks ago and I think it's one of the coolest things I've ever seen and I just love it!

Orange if you're male, green if you're female. Those are the highest visibility colors in my opinion. Riding something so small, you want to be as visible as possible.

I like the orange for the new colors. Cute and a little retro.

Seeing as I will be painting mine anyway, I guess it didn't matter, but I did want the 150cc engine.
Yes, it's fast. No, you can't ride it.

Hmmm, not sure how I want to take this comment! I hadn't realized that zombie blood was for women!

I say one of each color and ride a different scoot each day of the week (or around there, I'm too tired to determine how many different color schemes there are :P )

Next time you have a brilliant idea, whisper it to me first. Otherwise I look sort of like a Day-Dream-Johnny, you know?

I'm considering the brownish/orange argyle seat cover from scooterseatcovers.com for our Sunset Buddy.

Doesn't Keys wear a Kilt and wouldn't that be freaky if his scoot matched?

Be even worse if it clashed tho.

But back on topic. There are folk around here that will paint or trade panels to make their own color schemes so if you decide to change your mind about the color, it's really not that tough to change it.

There have been several threads about trading panels, seats and painting that you can search for and review for more ideas.

Just tried to order the brown argyle seat cover. Paypal won't accept the password I gave. Will someone please order for me or pm me your email and paypal password?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Guess I'll have to wait until I get home.

If you have a KitchenAid stand mixer that you love dearly, choose the color that it coordinates with. Duh. I got blue.

Just kidding (um but not really).

Hm, strange you should say that. I have an old Hobart Kitchen Aid mixer and it is just about the same cream color as the Buddy.

Ok Modern Buddy Loving Family Stick Together Through Thick and Thin!
No one sent me their paypal password and email at work so I had to wait until I got home to find my own password. The good news is that I remembered to do it. There is no bad news. 8)

The brown argyle seat cover for one sunset orange buddy is in the pipeline!

Now if the sunset orange top box will get off back order everything will be lovely.
