Thanksgiving Ride

Post by RunRun »

I took off ride on Thanksgiving day and saw this...
And YUP that's water in the far background the Bay Area you gotta love it.

This was the best view I have ever seen of the Bay Area right here from Castro Valley
in the middle of a residential neighborhood on the hill can you believe that? [Residential Neighborhood]

The small picture on here don't do it any justice...

I'd post the pics from my Thanksgiving Day ride, but I'm still a techno-moron. I jes' ain't got game.

I rode about 180 miles total from Cottonwood, AZ over Mingus Mtn. (elev. 7030 ft.) through Prescott to Hwy 89 south. Over the lip of Yarnell Hill and into the town of Yarnell for a family get-together. Started out about 45 degrees, got up to about 68 this afternoon, then arrived back home about 15 minutes ago and it is about 51 degrees.

The Buddy performed flawlessly. I kicked butt on the mountain twisties. A BMW cage DID manage to keep up with me, but in the rearview I noticed that in order to do so, he had it rolling WAY over in the corners. I had to grin. I average just under 100 mpg (according to my odometer...) and cruised about 60 mph (65 on the speedo) on the flats. What a great ride and what a great scooter!!

I'll be posting a write-up and pics from my ride on my blog tomorrow...

WOW!! The weather sound a little chili :wtf: to me I would have frozen on the seat with my hands stuck to the bars, but then again I would have loved the ride…

That sound like a great ride especially in the twisty where the cage is trying to keep up lol
From time to time I notices cages trying to keep up in the twist’s when I’m riding as well, but
I wonder are they trying to keep up just to see the small bike in front of them doing it flawlessly
or are they just driving to get through quickly?

I have to agree hands down Genuine make some good scooters
