I'm trying to set a really good example about wearing full gear (well, helmet, jacket, gloves, I don't have riding pants yet) every time I get on it. My kiddos live in the ghetto/barrio and I was horrified by how many of them told me that their older siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins think helmets are stupid, and by how many of them had ridden around on the back of their relatives' motorcycles in shorts, no helmet.

I personally think that helmets are important (Im a gear nazi) and I dont believe all the bs that comes from the anti-helmet people. Ultimately, its my brain I want to protect and I will tell those who wants to know - but to those who are adamant about it, well hey, its their brain not mine.casey wrote:... named my scooter today.
