Buddy in two 4 wheel accidents
My wife's Buddy 125 has been involved in two accidents (non injury) with my automobile ... and I was driving both times. We normally park her Buddy behind my auto in the garage.
Twice, I have been in a hurry (tend to have a one track mind) and have backed up hearing/feeling a thump/quickly break/hear a crash. So far, the only damage done has been to the windshield.
Now, you talk about the most wonderful spouse in the world, she is still civil and acutally laughs.
To avoid tempting fate, I took a picture of her buddy, printed on 8x10 sign and place it on the driver side of my auto windshield with the words "Buddy Alert!" boldly.
You ask, "Why not park it behind her auto?" Well, I keep the lawnmower in front of her car and she can't drive forward far enough.

Wow dude, your wife is way too understanding.
I think your car should be banished to the driveway until such time as a major snowfall has covered your vehicle with a large quantity of annoying frozen stuff. As you clear it off, you must repeat the following phrase (in a Monty Python style falsetto):
"I will not run over my wife's scooter ever again" over and over until your vehicle is cleared of snow and ice.
Then you must request permission from your wife before you are allowed to park your car in the garage again. During the intervening time, your wife will probably have reconfigured the garage so that the lawnmower is parked behind your car instead of her Buddy.

And probably thinking to herself... I'm glad I didn't do that!okiejack wrote:Now, you talk about the most wonderful spouse in the world, she is still civil and acutally laughs.

Uh, yeah... I totalled my wife's Buddy (since replaced). So if she loses patience when you tip hers over a third time, you can say, "Well, at least I didn't total it like that one guy did."

Ummm....don't forget to remove the 8 x10 after backing out. It would really suck to run over the cat while looking at a pic of her buddy!
