Let's try to keep this forum positive, okay guys? If y'all really hate the new HD so much, ride your scooter over to a local Harley dealership and tell off all the big burly bikers there, instead of mouthing off here, okay? :wink:

Personally I think that there is a market for both the Harley and the Honda automatic in this country. Once they are introduced to the American market time will determine the success of each but I believe that sales figures will be meaningful in either case. :wink:

And as much as we love our scooters - any respectable scooter company would die to have some decent fraction
of the U.S. sales figures of Honda motorcycles or even Harleys. :oops:

Harley made small bikes in the past so I don't think the Street 500 and 750 will dilute their heritage appeal much. When I took the MSF course about a year ago, half of my class already had a HD or planned to buy one.
I went to see the Capt America movie, but was disappointed that the Street 750 wasn't in the movie that much.
I wouldn't have a problem riding one of these HD Hummers.
