Oh, it was, you just didn't know it. :P
Southern singular is y'all
Southern plural is "all y'all"

But nobody else at my school did, either. That was the bigger problem.

Hipness is a HeiZENberg phenomenon.

And I don't think this will result in hordes of young girls rushing out to buy scooters.
I showed the article to my 10 year old daughter yesterday, a big Selena Gomez fan (not my fault, really... :? ). She loves sitting on the scoot and pretending to cruise, but she had no interest in the Selena pictures, and actually made jokes about the knee pads. Older kids won't care what Selena is doing. Based on this entirely nonscientific survey of one, I predict no effect on sales.

I wouldn't go that far… :)

They'll still call it a Vespa.

Between motorcycle-superstore and leatherup I have found a grand total 3 women's mesh jackets under $100, and I think 6 or 7 between $100 and $150. and most of them are at least 50% black, but there are a few better color choices at motorcycle-superstore.... So I'm really keeping an eye out for new stuff there.
Have you checked out Scorpion? I really liked some of their women's stuff, and some of it is similar in styling to that Joe rocket jacket. They were the only 2 companies I found that had a 3 layer hybrid coat, which I thought was hella neat and almost bought in black and purple.

And kneepads/shinguards.... yeah. I'm sure you can guess how I feel about them now. I don't care who you are. Smart choice. I'll probably buy a pair, even if all I ever do again is cupcake. *sigh*

At least it's somewhat better. "Vespa" is practically a generic term for a scooter, like "derringer" or "kleenex."

When I say that, they respond by saying how nice it is that I'm finally dating again. :?
