I think you must mean that any new vehicle was insanely expensive for what you could afford. The Fiat 500 is about the same price as a Honda Fit.

2nd picture this week here at MB of a Mini with a Genuine Scoot. The other is in the Stella forum. Gonna have to take a pic of mine when the sun is out sometime soon.

I've got an 08 Stella and recently picked up an 08 Buddy. Their garage mate is an 03 R53 Blue Mini.

Each vehicle has a nagging leak or two: Stella Clutch Cover Seal (Hopefully), Buddy Rear Hub Seal (fingers crossed it might have been just overfilled by PO) and the Mini has a transaxle seal and common power steering line leaks.

But, I have a good, but frustrating, time wrenching on them and paid well less than what a new compact car would cost.

I'm afraid mine don't coordinate very well. '03 Velvet Red JAC (R50?) and Italia.
