LOL!
I actually just rummaged through my dresser and found that hat! Yep, I ignored the Tweet from the Hipster HQ and did not burn mine in a ritualistic counter-culture hissy-fit.
I'd put it on but it would get all sticky from the hair-gel I have in my mohawk (I'm not kidding).
Maybe I should go back to the chin-beard look. I like the gray stripes.

Are they Tibetan? I thought they were an Andes mountain thing. I don't see them as much, but they are still around. http://www.peruhandicraft.com/alpaca-hat.htm

What!?...Aconcagua, not Annapurna? Ah, cheez, maybe you're right (oh, wait; those're Argentina and Nepal...why did I think Tibet? Was it the sea of hats at those Free Tibet rallies downtown?)Tom wrote:Are they Tibetan? I thought they were an Andes mountain thing. I got called a "hipster faggot" by a bunch of jocks driving their mom's minivan once when I was pulling up to my fave coffee shop in Beverly, MA once. Considering that I wear glasses, drive a scooter, and I'm old enough to be the parent of any of those douchebag jocks in their mommies mini-van I would have loved taking a swing at all six of them with my heavy chain... MASS-holes !!!

Ha, seriously?? Reminds me of my old drum corps days - we were rehearsing in our HOME TOWN, and a similar scene of football players drove by. One of 'em screams "BAND F***ERS!!!" and they peel offkooky scientist wrote:I got called a "hipster faggot" by a bunch of jocks driving their mom's minivan once when I was pulling up to my fave coffee shop in Beverly, MA once.

I'm sure I'll be branded a hipster when I finally get a track bike again. My commuter bike is too heavy and I can't remember the last time i changed gears. Of course, I'm a wuss and I won't have the patience to truly learn how to ride a fixed, so I'll just end up flipping the rear wheel and putting a freewheel on it.
