My first scooter accessory. (a Buddy key chain)

Post by buddy »

I just got this in the mail today from a kind fellow over at Genuine. I sent Genuine a note last week letting them know that they caused me many sleepless nights recently due to Buddy scooter obsession. So, he surprised me with a package containing this key chain which just arrived today in the mail. Pretty awesome, eh! Very nice of him too.

I just found that you can buy these for $4 at scooteworks.com, but they don't have an image of it on their site. Maybe I'll sell mine on eBay and donate the proceeds to my jar... j/k. It's definitely a keeper and a great first accessory!

that was really cool of them (that made me even more certain that Genuine is the way to go). By the way, I got a chance to check your blog... thumbs up! It's so funny though because after I decided on getting a Buddy I started change "box" using one of my Fossil watch boxes (that happen to have a pic of motorcycle on it). Each time I fill the box I take it to the bank and deposit it into a goal savings account.

Goodluck! :)

Yup, they had these keychains in the last "controversial" mailer from Scooterworks, but they were easy ti overlook. Nice!

Really...this sounds so intriguing!

Was this a recent mailing?
What was "controversial"?

And finally, I'm not the only one with a slick key chain? :P

You're not the only one! I got mine from Philadelphia Scooters in January when I picked up my chrome rear rack.

The mailing was this:

Only controversial if you take it literally, when it's clearly a joke.

I actually got a phone call from a panic-stricken friend when he saw the mailer. I understood the joke right away, but somehow wasn't very skilled at explaining it. It took a while. Must have been my math skills getting in the way of my verbal skills. If I had any...
