...it hit 80 degrees the other day, taking out the liner and opening all the vents didn't help. So I ordered a FIRSTGEAR Venom Mesh Tex Jacket (black/silver) from Newenough the other day. It arrived today and fits perfectly and will very comfortable in the warmth. The only thing is that when my wife called me into the other room for dinner, it was snowing. Yep. The evening of April 5th, 2007, and it's snowing in Owasso, Oklahoma.

I hear ya down here in OKC! I just got my new mesh jacket from New Enough yesterday!

By the way, whereabouts is Owasso?

I also ordered the First Gear mesh jacket and love it. I've put the lining back in - 40 something is pretty cold for us Texas boys . . .

Owasso is in Oklahoma just NNE of Tulsa. The Venom Mesh Tex doesn't have a liner! If it's cold enough not to wear the Venom, it's cold enough for the TourMaster!

Which mesh did you get from Newenough, Dahuffy?

I got the Tour Master LRX Air Mesh. It has 2 liners, a regular nylon one and a quilted liner. $135.00

Ahhh, you are so correct - I actually bought the Mesh Tex 2 rather than the Venom. My bad.

However, it is a really nice jacket, and newenough has them at a really good price.

Since I already had the TourMaster, I figured I could save by buying the Venom Mesh Tex - less than $65 including shipping. Of course, I only paid a little more than that for the TourMaster. You gotta love Newenough!
