Buddy SI delivered in the snow!!

Post by aerogirl7 »

My brand new Buddy SI was delivered yesterday as huge snowflakes fell from the sky. It's pretty crazy seeing as I bought the scooter the week before when it was in the 70s. My perforated gloves aren't going to do me much good in this weather...lol. I did manage to take it out for a little bit while the roads were still good and I absolutely love it. Hopefully it will warm up again soon so I can ride without my fingers going numb. :)

Your Buddy must of been the one I saw Seth working on earlier this week at Metro (before it got cold) - he was just about to add the bag on the back. Looks wonderful! Congratulations!

Welcome to the SI fold! I like the tan bag on the rear rack, looks really nice with the SI paint scheme.

Quick question, is that the Prima midsized windshield? I want one like it for my SI and I was wondering what you thought of it so far. We weren't sure if it would fit on the '07, but it looks fine.

I hope the weather clears quickly for you.

Excellent pics.

Nothing wrong with getting the Italia now, I heard there are not that many available. Guess we will see
how limited the limited edition is.

Love the accessories. I was looking to getting that bag for mine too.

It is the Prima windshield, but the dealer referred to it as the small one. Of the three windshields pictured on the Genuine site, it is the one that isn't fitted around the headlight (the fitted ones don't fit the '07). As far as how I like it, I love the windshield. It especially helped in deflecting the super cold air and stabilizing in the wind. :)

Congrats, Steph.

Cairo looks a bit apprehensive of the Buddy... You'll have to find a sidecar for him so he can ride too. :D
Huh? What just happened?

It sure is. He tells me it was in a photo shoot the other day and will soon be on the cover of a magazine. Pretty exciting.

the tan SX bags would look great on the orange buddy. I'm thinking about the tan back pack one that hangs off the seat in front. It'll add more room for hauling from whole foods. i've sworn not to take my station wagon to that store; or i'd have to start calling the store whole paycheck.

It's actually the Prima bag and it would definately look great. When I saw the bag at the dealership, it was being displayed on an orange Buddy.

Why imagine? Give me access to Adobe Photochop and some idle time during the Sunday morning talk shows and presto, here you go:

I have Miniature Pinschers, and I get Chihuaha all the time. Although they look like tiny Dobermans. :D

Haha. He'd probably jump out and destroy his other knee. I think apprehensive is putting it lightly, he was not at all thrilled that I made him sit there. Oh well, that's what I get for having an aloof dog.

Wow, that looks great! Wonderful photos of the scoot. Your garage is carpetted?

Looks like you just got a dusting of snow. It was 72F here Tuesday, and now we have 8" of snow. My daughter left to go back to college and called a while ago saying the snow had disappeared by the time she got to the next county south.

Enjoy your new scoot!
