do we have to be a member to go? i don't think i'd want to join a club i couldn't regularly participate with, (i live in topeka) but a rally is a special occasion... i'd love to be there.

You don't have to be a member, but membership in the club is a perk of attending the rally. We'd love to have you there. We have put on a couple of really fun rallies the past two years, and this one is shaping up to be even better.

Well the only thing is i need to ask off work for a wedding/family reunion the 26th-27th, and my intensive karate training/ brown belt test from the 30th- june 3rd, so i don't know if i can get so much time off work. (or if i can afford it) i feel so torn now.

I know you eat BBQ at ralleys from coast-to-coast. Trust. You haven't had BBQ until you've had KC BBQ. The scootin is even better than the Q.

I've been to a fogo. It was *ok*
KC Jackstack ribs:
Actually, the best piece of meat I ever had was at Craftsteak in Vegas. It was a very very nice piece of Kobe.
#2 are some ribs that a guy I work with makes in his "tow-behind-your-car" sized smoker.
Favorite easy to access good smoked BBQ is Oklahoma Joe's in KC.

well i asked some people at work if they think i could get 3 weekends off in one month, and no one seemed to think it would get me fired. i'll start doing the "request off" paperwork in the next few days it should be fine. (and honestly, i don't think i'd be upset if they did fire me, i need a new job) So my answer is: Hopefully!

Whoa! That's some serious devotion to having your scooter time. Looking forward to seeing you at the rally, if not prior.

It's not as serious as it seems. unless something biologically goes drastically wrong, i'm going to have a good chunk of cash later this summer. i need to get out of retail anyway, i'm a nursing major it's about time i left my comfort zone (5 yrs at target) and got at least a little closer to the medical field.

Ok fellow scooter punks. We are down to 10 days!
If anyone needs local information dont hesitate to ask here, on our board, or call us (anyone pre-registered should already have my phone number)
We have updated the website some minor schedule changes, and have added the much requested raffle ticket pre-purchase option. With this you can get raffle tickets so you dont have to carry cash for them. We will make sure to have the proper number of tickets ready in your rally pack along with your shirts, patches, etc...of course traditional raffle ticket sales are available all weekend long!
If anyone doesn't know whats up with this rally...then please go check
www.madtoto.com for details. We have ALOT of stuff planned for the weekend and have gotten lots of cool raffle prizes, tons of free food for the weekend, and have a full up schedule of events.

We've got 74 people preregistered! This is enormous growth over last year, which was significant growth over our inaugural rally. This 3rd time looks like it's going to be the charm indeed. Rally packs are getting made up Tuesday, and consequently, our preregistration gets shut down the same day. While you can register at the event, early birds get a few perks.
If you're thinking about showing up, be sure to RSVP as soon as you can.
