Hourly weather!!!!

Post by jgalar »

To me regular weather reports are worthless. I want to know what hour its going to rain, snow or freeze. I prefer not to ride in the rain (my candy ass may melt if it gets wet) but if is going to rain while I'm sitting at work I don't care.

Go to http://www.weather.gov/
At the upper left type in your zip code or city and state and press GO.
This brings you to a 7 day forcast. At the bottom right click on "hourly weather graph" and save this page so you can instantly check the weather for the day.

With Firefox, there is an add-on for weather.com that will show the forecast in [edited to add: the toolbar or status bar of] your browser . When you follow the link you can see hour-by-hour details. Definitely has been a bit off from time to time, but it helps me ride on more days. I especially like being able to see the wind predictions :)

I went to your sight. It is similar to accuweather etc. Try the sight I suggest, it has far more info and I find it easier to read in a glance.

Yeah, it's nice. Thanks for sharing. Just posting another option for Firefox users that may not have browsed the extensions.
