Lessons learned:

1. Avoid riding in the rain.

2. Don't hold your dog while piloting your scooter.

3. Find your teeth.

4. This much profanity is NEVER necessary.

To Mordeth whoever you are; "Yay you helped her when no one else would...awesome I'm totally glad you did that and it says something about you that you would help. However your rant also says a lot about you too."

the coolest part of that vid is the camera under his face shield. the sound was pretty good for driving in traffic. may i recommend when filming a rant while riding a scooter, in heavy traffic, in the rain. keep both hands on the grips. maybe a headlight would help also. just sayin... :P

If I crashed and had my teeth all knocked out, I'd rather not be helped at all by this guy. Acting like he's such a "big man" just because he played good samaritan JUST TO make a rant about society.

He rants about a woman holding her dog and riding while it rains, yet he himself is flinging his arms left and right, and not even paying attention to traffic while he is riding.

And he said "f**cking taiwanese people" which I take as a insult since half my family and I are taiwanese. Honeslty I'm sure people in a major American city would have reacted the same and just ignore the girl. I've seen it time after time on the news where someone is injured or hit, and everyone ignores the injured person.

Anyone remember the guy who is crossing the street and hit by a drunk driver, caught on security camera tape? That was in the USA.

More like "mordeth ruined the day"

You obviously have not been that guy. I have and it absolutely pisses me off. It is easy to armchair quarterback if you have not been in that situation. I have been there and I have had the exact same rant.

He is not the one that went down.

You can not be serious.

Doesnt matter if he went down or not, he's being a hypocrite in his own video, almost like he is saying "do as I say, not as I do"

Nonsense. He is a guy totally torqued off because someone went down and no other riders stopped to help or assist in any way. He is completely justified in the way he feels and expresses himself.

I have been riding scooters for 20+ years and there is no way a novice rider could ride the way I do or do the things I do while riding. I will tell any novice rider that.

Telling a new rider to do as I say and not as I do is common sense. It does not make me a hypocrite.

I have been in mordeth's situation before and I laid into other scooterists because of it and was completely justified.

For whatever reason you are looking for a reason to jump on this guy and he did absolutely nothing wrong.

Point being, if someone is going to help me in that type of situation, I'd want someone who is willing to help me out of kindness, not because they get pissed off seeing others just watch. He acts like he is "above" society, then he goes home and makes a internet video and rant on like he is some sort of big man for downing everyone and everything.

If this guy has a problem with society he should do something about it, contribute, not waste countless hours making constant rants about this and that and sit on the edge of his chair uploading crap to youtube.

He should have helped the woman, ride away, end of story. He pretty much downs the woman in the video. If I was her, I'd feel terrible knowing I was being talked about online so rudely and immaturely.

Is he really "above" society for just helping out a woman? Of course he did a good deed, but his attitude and words were a bit out of line.

I can only ask myself, what type of woman marries someone who never matured past 7th grade intellect and language?

Either one just like him and they live happily ever after or the complete opposite because she wanted to "change him and make him better", and that just doesn't work.

I'd like to see what his English classes are like for Taiwanese students. I bet he rants the same way in Taiwanese as he does in English.

In taiwanese we'd call him a "bakayarou" =)

It's a Japanese borrowed term people never ever use because how bad and frowned upon it is. It's also very old, WWII old.

Point being, you have no point and do not get it. That is ok. All you can do is beat this guy up having never been that situation.

Until you have been in that situation it is quite easy to make light of and mock the people involved. If I ever met this dude, I would absolutely buy him a beer as nothing he said or did was out of line.

You may understand it one day.

Dude's an immature egoist. But, it's better to be an immature egoist who helps than a humble bum who doesn't.

finally caught up with some of his other vids. the rant was lame but some others were pretty funny. ninja school was funny. and the being stalked was good. he has one where he is caught by another video blogger and the camera is right in front of his face inside his helmet. curious about this setup. is it common? what kind of camera is used?

I do not know how bad it is over there, but I do not think this is a one time incident. Humanity as a whole does not seem to care to stop when someone is hurt. Yes, he could have chosen better language, but when people are really ticked off or passionate about something our choice of colorful metaphors is the last thing on our mind.

Anyways, my cousin was sued when he pulled his rig over to help a couple out of a burning car. They said he ran them off the road. A Cam that his company installed saved him.
