Any reason (compression and ratios and such) that I can't remove the kickstart on my 125, and put a snazzy ready to kick lever on? Like this one:

Moved to the regular forum. I don't think it belongs in the scooter gallery. :)

Assuming it's a bolt-on replacement, that actually fits, there shouldn't be any mechanical concerns. You won't change the compression ratio unless you install a different piston or cylinder head. The only downside I can think of is if it sticks a long way out from the scooter and you hit it on something. If that's not the case, it should be no problem.

Go for it, there are many aftermarket kicks that will fit fine. Doesn't change anything other than looks.

What's wrong with the one already on the bike?

thanks, I realized that I had posted it in the gallery only afterward.

Nothing's wrong w/the stock kickstart, just thought one like that would be cool.
