Paint codes

Post by paulmiller20 »

I stopped at a local body shop to ask about getting a small supply of touch up paint (a few scratches on my light blue Buddy 125). They said if I could provide them with the paint code they would make me up a batch. Anyone help me with where I could get my hands on that ... or steer me to a thread that would cover the subject?

Thanks, Paul

I seem to remember this being asked before. As I recall, there is no such code.

Most auto body shops have the capability of scanning the paint on a panel of your Buddy and producing a "formula" (really codes) to mix matching paint. Given the variability in color between batches of Buddy panels that is probably the best approach in any case.
