(NSR) HELP! How do you get black ink of your skin? SOLVED!
EDIT: Oxi-Clean finally did the trick.
And not just a little ink....... the palms of my hands are soaked in it. Just road for an hour in the rain with a pair of black Joe Rocket leather gloves. Have never worn them in the rain. Never will again! I'm not kidding, my hands are BLACK.
I tried dish soap, goo gone, super orange hand cleaner and nail polish remover. Just turned it from gloss black to dull black.
This was the "good" side.

This exact same thing happened to me (black gloves) and another club member (red gloves) at our rally.
Luckily, the Welcome Center we stopped at had a gift shop and in that gift shop, they sold a product called The Original Corn Soap. It's the real deal. I scrubbed maybe three times with it and my hands were almost back to normal. A couple scrubs more when I got home the next day did the trick.
If you can't track down something like this, any abrasive hand soap (Lava, etc.) should help. Just keep scrubbing. Stop right before your hands start to bleed.

I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

It may only reduce the degree of blackness: try one of those body exfoliator brushes and maybe a body scrub. Contact a business that sells leather clothes. They might have some ideas for you. Wait a minute; most shoe repair shops have workers who get their hands full of polish and leather dye daily. Call a couple and see what they suggest. Maybe Corazzo might have a suggestion for you.
Keep in mind that some clerk who knows zero might answer the phone and have no idea what to do. Talk to the people who might know something.
Think I'll skip buying Joe Rocket gloves.
EDIT: this posting has become one that is good for reference on skin cleaning products.
