Hey, all,

Peak Scooter (aka username ThinAir) has posted a charity auction in the For Sale section. They're auctioning off a very nice lap apron and the proceeds benefit Scooter-Relief.org, an organization that aids scooterists who've been injured in crashes.

With cold weather riding season coming on, I'm kind of surprised no one's placed a bid yet!

Check it out here:

I've browsed over this once or twice. A Lap apron won't do me too much good since I have a scoot with a center tunnel and... you know... I made my own and all... but the thing is; I've found no obvious way of seeing the auction from his/her post. I think it's a great cause, but I've just got no idea on how to bid.

Eric, if you've figured out how to bid on that one, could you clarify it for the supportive and chilly-lapped members who wish to help?

Opening bid has been placed. Any riders from cooler climates want to get in on the action? I think it would be kind of funny if someone from AZ wins this one - it was 96 here a few days ago :)

Thanks for the bid

Thanks much for the bid!
Part of what motivates me to promote scooter-relief is the accident of MB member pesqueeb. We used to ride together and his accident really awakened me to need for an organization like scooter-relief.
Right now they need donations for Michael who was injured when a car pulled out in front of him. His scoot is destroyed and he cannot work due to his injuries.
Scooterists are still a small community in the USA, we need to stick together.
Even if you don't need a scooter skirt and don't bid in the auction please consider donating to http://scooter-relief.org
