I just got my brown Prima bag and am waiting for my rear rack to come in. I'm so excited! I really want to get a tan seat and the Prima exhaust next. :)

I had the black rear rack installed when I ordered it. Other than that, plus a milk crate I bungee to it when I go shopping, I haven't sprung for any accessories.

Slipstreamer windshield, black rear rack, Shad Sh-33 topcase. I did have a milk crate, but it's nicer to have lockable storage and it keeps my work stuff dry, now that it's raining a lot. It looks nicer than the milk crate too.

They come with the cowl protectors (and we're already on the scooter when I bought it... lucky me). You can see them here.

Shortest answer (for me) is to point you to this thread... in general, they've given my scooter more get up and go off the line and more sustained power going up hills. They're a recent addition so I'm still observing how the mod's settle in and what the exact changes ultimately turn out to be.

Blue loctite will fix 'em right up for ya. But, I still carry a crescent wrench.

Not that I would actually be able to DO anything with it if something happened, but I still have one.

The dealer gave me these valve stem lights – they don’t fit on the rear, but the front wheel lights, and can be seen at night.

Just a heads up about those, they may cause your tire to lose pressure.... pretty much instantly.

If you read the package, I bet it specifically states that they are for off road use only.

I got a package as a gift and put them on my daughter's bicycle instead of my scooters. She likes them and even if she did suddenly loose air pressure she never rides her bike fast enough for it to be a problem.

Wow, that's quite a list! How much have you invested so far into performance mods and at what point do you think you'll stop modding the Buddy?

I've thought about this because someday I'd like to take on 161cc kit but I'd at the same time I'd also like a MC someday.

Umm, I try not to keep track :P

Since I do all my work myself, I think its been around $500. It would have been a LOT more with labor if I had to have someone else do it.

I don't think I'll ever stop modding it honestly, I've had that problem with all my cars. They get to the point that they're barely streetable drag cars, then I buy another one and start over. My daily driver before my Buddy is now a 550HP Pro Street drag car :)

Honestly though, I would (likely) stop at the point that it majorly impacted the reliability of the bike, I still have to get to work on it. Beyond that, I enjoy modding to the point of absurdity :)

Speed and power are definitely addicting. I inherited the trait early on when I was a child and my dad sat me in the passenger seat of our Porsche 944 and explained what everything did in the gauge cluster.

I began tinkering with cars as soon as I was able to drive and can install most bolt ons (headers, exhaust, etc) on my own.

I decided to go German after college and got my hands on an E46 BMW M3. That car was so beautifully balanced around curves and corners and the S54 motor sang beautifully to me on the PCH during late night drives. I had 333hp on that and was ready for more, torque in particular (BMW has never really been great in that department).

I'm now pushing over 500hp with over 450 lbs of torque and I love every single drop.

Actually, that's not coming from my M3, lol. I sold it and got an E63 AMG. :)

I decided not to mod the M3 because the S54 motor is a high compression engine and does not respond well to turbos or SC's. It's doable, but the lifespan is short. :P

I haven't bought anything yet but on my list is Rear rack, top case, med windshield and a Ge-nu-bin. I wonder if anyone knows about the side flashers. I was told that the top ones are to meet US requirements but the side ones were for the Euro model and are disconnected. Any way to re-connect them?
