I use a 24mm socket, but it may actually be a 23mm, just don’t have that size socket

that narrows it down so when in doubt get both

Use a 24mm, its all you will need – I have never seen a 23mm wrench

24mm....good to know. :)

For future ref, one method for finding a bolt size needs nothing more than an adjustable crescent wrench and a ruler in millimeters. Adjust to bolt size, measure the gap. :) Pretty cool of Autozone to let you do that!

If you continue to use the old tire, a second set of treds come up!
I know this for a fact.
My scooter came with different tires, I was able to get nearly 10K miles out of them, and of course some of it was on the second set of treds.
Whatever the case, it seems like the tires should last greater than 4.8K – I wonder if your roads are rougher than we have here, or you’re carrying heavier loads.

Sister squeaky and a Frankenstein paratrooper. That made me laugh. Ride safe on the new tire man.

I think its because im 6 ft 4" and I sit further back on the seat so my weight is on the rear tire plus our roads suck see video

I think you're right. I sit at the rear of my seat too, plus I have a top case. I think both make a difference.

I went through my second rear wheel in 3000 miles compared to 4000 with the first one. The difference between the two I think was because there was about 1500 miles of highway riding on the second tire. Faster speed = hotter tire = faster tire wear. That and I had it slightly over-inflated to 33psi for highway riding.
