So, my Buddy had started having a weird vibration/shaking sensation as I was starting from a stop, every time. I thought to myself "Take this to Scoot OVer and have them check it out." then "No, you have almost 15k mile experience, you can diagnose this thing!"
Not-so-long story short, I took apart the variator and BEHOLD! flat spots on the rollers! Replaced those and smooth riding again.

Nice job! You get a big gold star for being self-reliant! Bravo. We really do have an amazing resource here in MB, don't we. Pretty much everything scooter-technical I know I've learned from the people here.
