Uh-Oh -- Help?
I have been a lurker for awhile and I now want to ask for help. i went out today to change the DOT lights to the OEM and I decided to keep them with the DOT until I could get someone to hook them up for me so they both run together -- I didn't trust my electrical skills. Anyway -- i disconnected them and put them exactly the way they were and now they turn on but are no longer blinking.....uuuggghhhh. I should've known better than to mess them myself. Can anyone help me? Oh ---and now -- I have to kick start it -- to run. Nice.

Blown Fuse Causation...
Tell me... did you disconnect your battery before you fiddled with the wiring?
All you had to do was touch the end of a wire somewhere it shouldn't have touched, and if power still flowed, that could have made the fuse go "POP!"....

Knowledge is Power...
Hey, it all came with the degree in electronics... ought to see (and hear) what happens to a polarized capacitor when it's plugged in backwards...
