Has anyone seen or used one of these things? It is called a voltage charging unit and everything is in Japanese except for the name of the product and the following:
•increase power and torque
•improve engine response
•improve fuel economy
•improve audio quality
•increase headlight brightness
•improve battery life
So of course I bought it. It was sold in a department store in taiwan called "Carrefour" next to 8 scooters on a platform.

The B125 is a 12v, make sure the charger has a 12v output... With any luck the charger you bought easily distinguishes the positive & negative leads.

Sure it's a charging unit? It looks like a voltage stabalizer, it's a great thing to have if your car's built... but every car, truck, suv, minivan, motorcycle & moped has one. The after market ones are best for large stereo systems or light arrays on off road vehicles.

so I finally had the chance to install this voltage chargin unit with claims too good to be true, of course to my surprise it has made a few differences to the scooter...
-my headlight modulator stopped working, it stopped blinking.
-I have had the best mpg since I got the scooter last summer. I generally get about 72 around the NYC area. I will give it a few more tanks to make sure.
-the idle went up, my dealer had lower it before trying to squeeze a few extra miles out of it.
-it accelerates more smoothly, better engine response.
-it feels a bit faster? I may just be imagining this part... I will need to test out the top end a bit more.
over all I feel that it is the best $15 spent, but of course it took out my $35 modulator. give me a few more weeks and I will give a full report.
