RAM GPS mounts?
They are called RAM GPS mounts. Has anyone here used those and might have feedback? Looks like those would be good solution for someone like me who already invested into car GPS unit and looking to use same on the scooter vs. shelling out another $300+ for motorcycle -specific GPS unit. This might save me some money but I am wondering how well it works, how sturdy etc.

They're great. I have a RAM mount I use for a camera and know several others who use them for GPS, video, phone, etc. Very solid and well made. Worth the money (and not that expensive). I'm getting a holder for my iPhone next.

Best mount on the market from what I have seen. I use the mirror mount. It mounts on the mirror stem. Works great with the Buddy. Here is an earlier post, where I included pics of step by step of installing the mount on my scoot.

That's the website. They also have something called Aquabox? It looks to be a holder that encases GPS and protects it from rain etc. I too think the cost was fairly reasonable. I do not need more then one GPS unit. Mine is nice, does great job.
