Motorcycle Chock for Buddy?

Post by Tazio »

I'm setting up a trailer for transporting my Buddy when it arrives and would like to use a chock for a 3.5 inch wheel motorcycle. Any problems with clearance when using this with a Buddy?

The one I planned on using is a Pingel WC350.

The Buddy's front tire will squeeze into the Pingel 3.5" chock, but the wheel won't go all the way in because the brake disk, which extends beyond the width of the tire, hits the chock when the wheel is about halfway into the chock. I thus think you'll need the 6.5" size chock. I have a Stella and a Buddy; the Stella fits in the 3.5" Pingel chock, but the Buddy doesn't because its front brake disk sticks out further to the side.

OK, that's what I was afraid of.

Thanks
