Hi, Heather! I'm from DFW (well, mostly FW) so it's always nice to have new members from that area. Scooters were practically nonexistent there when I moved 10 years ago. I hear they're all over now!

We have a lot of other members from the area and I know there are some pretty active groups and events around Dallas.

Welcome, Heather!

Meet us in Ft Worth at Zeke's on May 26th because there's no way I'm spending the night in the area without going there. And if you want to ride down with us to Amerivespa, you can stay in the getting-more-crowded-by-the-minute room with me, polianarchy, maribell and rubyslippers from MV.

Hush. It's the only tartar sauce on the planet that I like.

No, I used to go there pretty frequently. I just didn't ever peg it for one of those out of towner destinations. :)

I stumbled on it when I was down there for a meeting and now I go any time I'm in the area.

Thread hijack successful!

Poliana, there's a chance I might be able to get Sabrina's Hellite down for you to ride, if you wanna.

Hi Heather, a fellow Vet Tech! :D
(Btw, are you or were you recently in the DEVTP program?)
Enjoy your Buddy!

Welcome to the wonderful world of scootering!!! It is as addictive as crack cocaine and easier on your adrenal gland.
Unless you ride where there are armadillos. Then it's about the same on your adrenal system... but at least it's cheaper, and you get to keep your teeth.
I went too far again didn't I???

No, I was in the program on campus here in Dallas. It was tough but totally worth it.

You'll love your Buddy. You'll find "Scootin" is addictive. You'll never meet nicer people. Have fun. If you want a little laugh at an old guy with his first scooter blog onto http://happyoldscoot.wordpress.com/

Welcome Heather!

Looking forward to some fun group rides in the Dallas/North Dallas area...

 I should know better than to hijack someone's thread, seeing as how they made me a mod. Yeesh! Sorry, Medusa Padlock! Welcome aboard! I grew up in Dallas, right by the Inw00d Theatre. :D

Laura, OMG YES PLEASE. I'll let you know by the end of April if I've got a trailer for my own scooter, if that's enough of a notice for you. I'm also gonna keep on asking around to see if anyone closer has one to spare, to save you the trouble. BUT DUDE YESSS!!! I <3 Honda Elites. :D
