Picked up my new Italia
I got my new Italia from NoHo Scooters yesterday.
I dug an old 4x4x8 foot long trailer out of my back 40, cleaned it up, pumped up the tires, repaired the lights and added some tie down eye bolts. Removing the mirrors from Buddy and securing it in place with a few blocks of wood at the front wheel, a Canyon Dancer at the grips and 4 rachet straps it was safely transported 20 miles home thanks to Mike who helped load and engineered the securing process.
Mike has a few more Series Italias in stock if anyone has been waiting in the Los Angeles area.
After I got it home, it started right up. I haven't taken it out for a ride yet as I'm starting the MSC and wanted to complete that first.
Here's a shot of where I managed to fit it into the garage with 5 cars, 8 bicycles and tons of junk.

Congrats—another beautiful vehicle for your garage!
I'm headed to NoHo tomorrow for new tires and some other maintenance beyond my meager abilities. I'll finally get to scope out a SI.

Answers to a bunch of questions:
I had the tan seat and mat added to the Buddy. I will be adding the tan grips also but one was backordered.
The MG is a 1949 TC. The car behind the Buddy is a 1956 Porsche 550/1500RS replica. A turnkey car made in 2000 by Vintage Sypders. I believe they are in Santa Ana now.
Off to the right and not in the picture is a 1929 MG M Type and behind me is a 1989 911 Cabriolet. I'll try to get those in the next Buddy picture.

Love the cars AND the italia looks fabulous!
Really love that version of the Buddy. Saw it 'live' today at Metro and wish I could talk my wife into getting her own scooter ... and it be this one so I could borrow it!
Enjoy yours!

Yes, that is my scooter.
Yes, I wear a helmet and a FIRSTGEAR armored jacket.
No, I'm not embarrassed to be seen riding it.
Yes, that is an NRA sticker on the fender.

Once you get her started on one you'll never have a chance....
