Do you not have the extra set of keys that come with every scooter? There is a way to open the seat but it is NEVER posted on the forum for obvious security reasons.

There is an semi easy way to get into your pet carrier.
PM me for instructions... I would not want to post something so easy and then have a lurker start breaking into Buddy's

I locked my key in my seat once when I was pumping gas. Key got caught up in my gloves which I didn't realize. Luckily I was at a gas station that was only 1 block away from my apartment with the 2nd key.

I'd like to know the seat opening secret for emergencies.

The person I bought my scoot from didn't give me the xtra key. I haven't got a replacement yet. Is there a common blank out there, or do I have to go through Genuine or an "official" representative? Thanky.

When I first joined MB I thought someone posted a latch mod with a secret release handle. Every time someone locks the keys in the per carrier I think about doing it.

I tried a couple convenient key-duplication places (hardware store down the street, kiosk at the mall where I worked), and neither of them had matching blanks. They both recommended either a real locksmith or the dealer.... which was about the point at which I decided that the two keys I had were enough.

Glad you found them Dawg Onit. Excellent. I can hear your sigh of relief from hear :)

FYI, PGO makes blank replacement keys. I have never found another kind that works. I know NoHo Mike has some but I would imagine you could get them from Scooterworks/Genuine too.

Dawg... I am glad you found your keys.

My wife locked her keys during a Club event, and a fellow Toto showed us the trick. He did it in about 5 minutes.
