Replacement Front Fender Buddy 125

Post by winslow81 »

Anyone know where I could get a plastic replacement front fender. I saw a chrome one on scooterworks, for about $40, but I don't want chrome. My scooter store in SF is charging $40 for the plastic one...is that high? They sold me on a Genuine because replacement parts were plastic, so cheaper, but perhaps they meant cheaper than replacement Vespa parts.
Thank you.

Call scooterworks. Not all of their inventory shows up online. They should have stock colors available. I would imagine the price is the same though. But $40 sounds fair to me.

$40 is about as cheap a replacement fender as you'll find on a decent scooter. I'm sure an OEM replacement for a Vespa is $100+. The chrome ones can be found cheaper, but I'm not a fan.

Ordering a replacement via your dealer or Scooterworks is probably the best way to go. For some parts, I'd recommend trying to find a used one off a wrecked scoot but labor for removing a front render will run over $40.
