[NBR] Vespa parts get new lease on life as office furnature

Post by Kaos »

I stumbled across a company in Europe called <a href="http://www.belybel.com/portafoli_seient ... .html">Bel y Bel</a>

That takes Vespa parts and makes interesting furnature out of them.

A friend of mine years ago was a huge MG Cars fan, and usually had a couple of them going a projects at any given time. He converted the driver's seat from one of them into a chair for his office, and it was remarkably well-suited to that use.

waste of a perfectly good scoot
if the metal is good enough to make into a chair you could easily rebuild it

I'm building one of those out of an old VBB frame. I don't mind having a CHAIR that's 30% metal, and 70% bondo. A scooter on the other hand, leave that up to the bodges. Besides, P Frames are a dime a dozen.

 Please elaborate... I would be willing to pay a WHOLE QUARTER for just ONE P frame. Maybe even a dollar! Think about THAT!
