Sheesh! Do I feel dumb! I didn't know my Buddy had helmet hooks under the seat! Thanks for the post. I did learn something.

No need to feel a dumb. A lot of people don't realize that's what those are!

Is the Buddy really one of the top selling scooters in America? Where did they get that info?

Maybe in '08. I don't think any scooter can claim top selling for '09!

Dealers probably get to hear sales figures that we don't.

I'd bet that 90% of members on MB only learned about the helmet hooks from other members...and the other 10% still don't know about them :wink:

She says the 2 stroke stellas will be replaced by 4 strokes, i thought genuine was going to be carrying both.

IIRC they will be phasing out the 2 stroke after several more years, but I could just be pulling that out of my...

It's not going to be several years, more like a couple in my estimation.

LML has no more reason to make them. They'll be out of compliance with emissions regulations in most of their markets before long.
