Does anyone know if Eco Moto in salt lake city is out of business? I tried to call them today and it said the number had been disconnected.. Weird.

They closed down at the end of 2009. Kinda blew me away. the owner had his Vespa for sale on ksl for a while. I have an email address for one of the service guys and he said they knew they were in trouble in August of last year. But could not recover.

That sucks! so no genuine dealer in salt lake anymore? Where do you get parts for yours? I have a 2007 buddy 125 and I need to pick up a oil filter for it as I am starting to get it ready for spring and want it to have clean oil. This really sucks for anyone who cant change their own oil..

The kicker is that they sold a ton of buddys in 07 and 08. Their will be many who will need parts. Scooterworks will have them. As well as some other online shops. I think scooterlounge in happy valley is your best bet. A few members are from down there and can send you in the right direction.

There may be another scooter dealer in town who'll pick up Genuine now that the previous dealer is out of business.

If you can't find one closer to SLC, try Mansface Motors in Green River, WY. It's about 150miles east on I-80, but they are a genuine dealer and the owner runs the shop because he loves scooters.

The owner of the store owns a couple of strip malls and apartment complexes so he will keep the store open even if it's not making money for him. I've seen him ride his HD200 in some weather conditions that kept cars off the road.

Wow, that stinks, I bought my Rattler there. Come on down to Happy Valley and get your stuff from ScooterLounge.

Yeah sucks for eco moto. The dude didn't really run the business well, but pretty much the only places around in utah are Beehive scooters in Salt Lake and The Scooter Lounge in Orem. I've done business with both and would take a bullet for both owners.

Wow. This is a huge bummer. Eco was an excellent dealership. I'll especially miss their organized rides in the summer. This is a substantial blow to the scooting community here.

Got a shock the other day when I walked into the Scooter Lounge and it was full of SYM scooters (which they don't normally carry). Apparently they moved the whole stock from Eco Moto down there to sell on consignment. I had never seen a Fiddle II in person before, now I've seen around twenty-five.

The Fiddle is a handsome scoot indeed, after 2000miles has broken in nicely, but I'm spoiled, having owned the HD for a couple years first. If there were a way to drop the HD engine in the Fiddle body...
