At the risk of sounding like a complete noob...what is the deal with the floppy floor mats that come on buddy's? I've put about 30 miles on my brand new 150 Pamplona and I'm excited to show it off...but people keep on asking what the deal with the floor mat is.
It looks like wall paper that is falling off the wall. Is this thing going to shrink with usage or what? It just doesn't fit well at all.
p.s. sorry if this has been discussed before...I couldn't find anything.

The mat is secured by little rubber nubs that go into the plastic panels. Chances are, the nubs were never worked back in when the battery was installed or they've worked their way out.
That's the best guess without a picture.

Yup, haven't seen or heard of a case of floppy floor mat before. Probably just needs to be secured correctly.

I went poking around in my battery compartment and did not realise how important it is to make sure that all of the little nubs/buttons/thingamabobs are secured into the little holes to keep the floor mat from flopping around. I ended up pulling the whole thing off and putting it back on to get it on there just right and then it fits perfectly, as it did when I first got it.
