Help me pick a new interior color

I love my girl. She's beautiful. But...I'm not a big fan of black. Ok, I HATE black. Sure, I love my power tools and I like getting my hands dirty but I also love bunny rabbits and Disney movies. I like that my Buddy has a heart Tim the Toolman would be proud of but I want a kinder, gentler exterior. Black just doesn't cut it. That said I'm having a hard time thinking of a color that would go with the soft blue. Not more blue; pale blue is the only shade of blue that I actually like. I was thinking eggshell or cream but I'm open to more imaginative ideas.

Help me Obi-Wan ModernBuddies. You're my only hope.

chrome rivets but in metalic hot pink/fuschia

white-ish would give it a retro diner look, but probably get dirty fast.

Tan\brown interior, seat and grips would look good. White interior, seat and grips would look nice too but would be a pain to keep clean.

If it were me I would try to choose a color that I could get a matching seat and grips but it's your scooter, do what makes you happy. If they all looked the same what fun would that be?

Oh snap! racist?

I know others have painted that area but its different plastic. Probably harder to get anything to stick. Not saying it can't be done. The area where your feet go would be hard to keep the paint lookin nice.

There really aren't a lot of colors that go well with that shade of blue. The problem is that most colors would overpower it, and you don't want that, so it'd have to be something that didn't draw attention to itself, which means neutrals and other light pastels.

I'd say go for the Pamplona plastic, seat and grips. Painting the interior surface doesn't always end well. That's the section that gets the most foot scuffs, grocery bag wear, ect. Plus, the rough plastic doesn't take paint particularly well, from most accounts.

I cut my tan Pamplona grips off and replaced them with black. The tan gets dirty from the dye in gloves and just dirt. Very hard to keep clean.

Pink, but it'll get filthy. That's why I'm FINALLY swapping out my deLux Pink interior for always-bet-on-Black. :D

Ever go to Adobe's Kuler site? http://kuler.adobe.com/

You can look at color swatches and get an idea of complimentary colors.
These are done by designers and uploaded to the site.

The white with the pale blue is beautiful but, I agree, it would be tough to keep clean. If you like to spend a lot of time keeping your scoot clean, this would be drop-dead gorgeous!

Thanks everyone for the great ideas!

I'm thinking the retro diner look. I don't have a husband or kids so I have plenty of time to keep her looking sharp!

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks Bucky is the bomb.
