Removing Badges

Post by bpatrick5 »

How do I remove the badges on my St Tropez? I want to take off the Buddy and 150 on the sides and front. I'll leave the St. Tropez badge.

Any ideas? I assume they used adhesive. I've seen some posts where they've been very cleanly removed.

Thanks!!

Warm them up a bit (leave in sun or use hair dryer) then peel them off. There may be some slight residue left behind but there are plenty of adhesive removers to clean it up.

Its really a very easy task. If your careful when you remove them, you can re-stick them somewhere else if you chose. Or stick them inside a plastic sandwich bag and re-use at a later time.

They're puffy stickers. Use floss and adhesive remover. EZPZ

On warm day I just walked out, stuck a fingernail under an edge and gently pulled it off, clean and neat. :)

Yup, I have two "Buddy 50"s, one of which looks suspiciously like a Hyundai Accent. :)

Thanks for the advice!! I'm working up the nerve to pull them off. One part of me says to leave them but I really dig the clean look of little or no badging. I might just defer the decision to my girlfriend.

Thanks again!
