Modern Buddy

So in the morning I start my buddy wait for the idle to die down and drive into work, when it is warm the idle will slow while I come to a stop and the creep upwards until I goose it slightly and it will go back down to normal and slowly start to creep up again. What is going on and should I be concerned about fixing it?

If you are too concerned go ask your mechanic to take a listen to the idle.

I might not be understanding it, but when you "goose" it, it should rev the motor and then go back down again...
