Changed the air filter on my 125 today. Not sure how long it's been since it's been changed (if at all). I have 4700 miles on my scoot, and the change was noticeable, immediately.
So if your scoot seems to lack the "pep" it used to, might be worth looking into. It definitely helped out my low end acceleration quite a bit and gave it back the signature sound I remember when it was brand new.
A quick and cheap do it your self fix at around $22.00.

Air filter
I sourced mine locally here in in San Antonio, they had it in stock. Props to The Motorcycyle shop. http://themotorcycleshopsa.com/
I used to live about 2 miles away from Scooterworks in Chicago and used to get everything there.
If I am reading your location correctly, I would try:
Pensacola Motorsports
620 N. Warrington Rd. Pesacola, FL
850-456-6655
www.pensacolamotorsports.com
They are listed as a Genuine Dealer.
Good Luck!
