Givi Trunk which size?

Post by SI Kitty »

I would like to get a Givi trunk for my scooter. I'm leaning towards the 30 or 35 litre trunk. I'd like a spacious trunk but no too large.

What size of trunk (Givi or other make) does everyone have? Does either the 30 or 35 litre seem like a decent size thats not too large?

Thanks!

I have the 30, it is well proportioned and balanced. Don't forget to get the tail light electrical kit!

One thing to be aware of with the Givi--I had my rear rack break on me (twice now--finally had warranty replace it), and I think it was precipitated by the fact that you need to mount the Givi case so far down--half of it sits off the edge of the rack. There is a previous poster (topic1282.html) who cut off that top bar on the rack, which I think is smart, but I'm not sure how to make it work with the chrome rack. Anyway, otherwise I think the Givi case is great--far superior to the previous Buddy top cases. I have the E30, and I think it is just enough--not too big.

Saw Brat today, we traded bikes for a minute. Then I went and had the Prima pipe put on. So, now our bikes almost match. It is very cool and rumbly.
