Ride on June 16th in Denver....anyone Going?

Wild, Wild West Cruise starting from Sportique Denver (3211 Pecos st) & riding through Lakewood to Red Rocks Park. Snacks at the Morrison Inn. The ride will end at the Highlands street fair which will be in full swing and we encourage you to join us there for live music, cool drinks and scrumptious grub. Push your scooter through the barrier and park at our booth in the north east parking lot of 32nd and Lowell. Don't forget to register to win a People 50 Scooter!

Hey can a Non-Buddy scooter go? For the time being i have a kymco ZX-50 two stroke... I was the oddball scooter for the CON '07 (the honda ruckus meet.) I however was there doing documentary work, and thats why i was accepted... I'd like to do some more photo work with this ride.

Of course you could..its not a buddy ride....sportique sells many brands of scooters including kymco and this is not a buddy specific ride........just people getting together to ride...see ya there

I know it's kind of blasphemy, but Erico is giving away free gas to scooterists at 1300 W. Colfax ave. I will probably scoot on down and pickup some free Dino-juice and head over to Sportique.

The free gas only lasts from 10-12noon

It was great meeting you, I had a blast, and congrats to vic for winning the kymco people 50! It was nice to see someone that went on the ride win the scooter at the festival afterwards.........I look forward to seeing your pics when ya get them up........

My wife and I rode the baby blue Peoples. My wife Hope realy likes the trim you put on your Buddy, actualy I'm the guy that was talking about lighting up my chrome oval. I was searching for pictures from the ride and also the picture taker. To my suprise I found you. I also told you that we could look at your bike. Sorry for leaving mid ride but we have a sick dog and my wife missed him. So thanks for a great time and by the way, I have the service manual for the ZX50!

Drop me a line and we'll get that ZX50 running like a Kymco should!

Awesome, I am very interested in getting the kymco going again, I am at stand still because i cant get the generator off......it takes a special puller and I have to get it off to clean out all those metal shavings from inside the motor....any help you could give or maybe a part number in that manual to remove the generator would really help......that zx-50 is fun when it is running....but I do like my buddy much better............i have some cool mods in the works on my buddy folks........stay tuned.....ya gonna love it!

and tabs are you gonna go on the colfax crawl? my wife will be riding on the back for that ride.......she loves ice cream and books so it wasnt hard to convince her to go on this next ride........not that it ever has......she loves the little scooter..............take care.....

I also spoke to tbonestone regarding his ZX50 he just purchased used.

Once you download the ZIP file there will beseperate PDF's for each section of the manual. It is in English!

Tablist, where is that manual at again? I need it BAD!! I need to know the size of the main jet in the carb. Got her back together but its having issues......

Extremely hard to start, the idle screw is all the way in, if I try to back it out the scoot dies..........I am thinking its getting way too much fuel, I pulled apart the carb and totally cleaned it all out and it is still doing it, I took it back to a 50cc from a 70cc and I believe we up jetted it and it may be getting to much fuel for the 50cc. Any help would be great, once I get it running good and know it is mechanically sound its going up for sale.

Thanks!!! I found what I was looking for, the main jet size I have in her now is a #90 and it should be an #80 according to that manual, so this explains the hard starting after going back to a 50cc from a 70cc.......I am on the path...........thanks again.

Do you have a carb or is it still the stock one?

still the stock one but they upjetted it for me when i put the mallossi 70cc kit on it, they said they drilled the stock jet, but when I took it to a dealer he said it had never been drilled?? and the #90 was in fact a #90, so then I was all confused and needed to know what the stock jet was so I could it put it back the way it was, I got her running but she is very hard to start and I think it is because of way too much fuel, and this confirms it for me, I have a another jet I bought which is a #75, I will take it back to ericomotorsports and have them drill it to a #80 and see if that fixes my problem, I am thinking it will. Right now my idle screw is bottomed out or all the way in....if I try to back it out any while it is running the scoot dies, this tells me it is getting way too much fuel, but I am no expert, learning as I go.
