First Day of BRC

Just got home from my first day at the BRC (offered at a community college here in CT). Had a blast! This was my first try on a clutch motorcycle, and at first I was so completely inept, stalling from a stop time after time. But they really give you individual attention and coaching (there were 11 people in our class), and by the end of the day I was leaning into curves and feeling relaxed. It was a lot of fun!

I'm riding my buddy in tomorrow morning (he's starting an hour early b/c it's supposed to top 100 degrees tomorrow). I learned an awful lot today about technique and safety; really glad so far that I signed up.

Wish me luck on the test (Wednesday)!!

Hope you passed

Amy, CJ & I took the course in October. We all passed; well, one of us needed a retest ($25 extra, but the U turn was much easier on the Buddy). Good investment, cost $600 for three of us, lots of individual attention, and even the old "biker" learned quite a bit- but I knew I would.

Are you planning to take the experienced rider course next year?
