Here's a great post on changing the oil and gear oil yourself.

There are pointers to a lot of good info in this thread: For All New Members/Owners.

Basically, just keep up with the maintenance schedule—oil changes, cleaning the air filter, having your valves checked. At some point (6K miles or so), you'll have to replace the variator rollers and belt.

Check your engine oil level regularly. Keep your tires properly inflated and keep an eye on the tread. They'll probably last around 3K miles, but don't hold me to it.

Keep the roadside assistance number on hand, just in case.

If you have any problems, visit ModernBuddy! A lot of common problems have probably been addressed (use that handy search function), but we're always happy to help out.

Yes; New Urban Transport – Nick.
Year and a half ago my wife got the bug, she wanted a scooter and we picked up a Kymco People 150 at New Urban Transport – she had so much fun with it she urged me to get a scooter so she had someone to scoot with. We went down there thinking I would also get a Kymco as well but Nick had just received the new scooter, the Buddy 125, it was love at first site.
