Tire size
What does tire size do for handeling? Most scoots go with the fairly small tire , then the Kymco People 50 and the TGB Sunset go with the taller skinnier tire. What is the big difference?

So often have I seen that..."larger wheels = better handling at higher speeds". I suppose it is more what you're used to. I've owned over 60 motorcycles and 20 motorscooters. Haven't had a problem at speed with the smaller wheels. Of course, maybe it makes a difference when your top speed is 70 mph.
But really, I've taken photos from my Buddy at an indicated 72 mph with no hint of instability. Maybe mine is just special...

Definitely didn't mean to imply that the Buddy is unstable at high speeds. Fork rake, suspension, and rider skill all play a greater role than wheel size. All other things being equal (as they so rarely are in life) the larger diameter wheel will present greater stability. This is particularly true on bicycles, but may well be un-noticeable as vehicle weight increases.
