And get the credits if they sign up and buy! :P

I'm already a Fab addict but couldn't go for a helmet. Some looked cool (the modular, which I haven't seen before) but I have to try on. Also just bought a new lid and my $20 in Fab credits isn't going to cut it.

Ok, I don't get it. Clicked on the link and it seems I need permission to see this cool helmet "thing"? Eh, if I'm not cool to see what it is I'm supposed to be buying I guess I don't need it.

It's a "private" sale site, meaning you need to sign up to get access to the sale. Membership is free. They have limited quantities available for members only, but it's very easy to join. Also, you can opt out of emails, etc. if you like so they're not spamming you.

In exchange for referring people to the site and sales, you can earn credit$. I also got credit$ as a thank you for buying some t-shirts and design magazine subscriptions. I know it sounds like a shady Ponzi scheme/Net scam, but it's not at all. Private sale sites like this are pretty common now; they mostly deal in new brands that need exposure or overstock. I'm signed up on 4 or 5 sites like this.

Is this one worth the trouble? I'm pretty lazy/indifferent about these sorts of things.

It's been worth it for me, but I buy a lot of stuff online and rarely pay full retail for anything. Fab is ostensibly design-centered but that's pretty broad. Not so much clothing but lots of housewares, art, odds and ends.

For the Nexx helmets, prices are $120-$184 off, priced from $179 for their 3/4 open face helmets (reg. $299) to $275 for their normally $459 full. The modular looks pretty cool; never seen it before.

$227, normally $379. Only 3 left in this color.

Man...such hate on Tron! I expected FAR more, but what they had was a good start. Unfortunately, they kept at the "start" of the movie and never developed any mythology. It was good art, not so much good cinema.

Ok, I'm intrigued. Can someone please let me into fab?

I really like the look of the vintage one, but I don't think it would actually protect my noggin.
