Hi, I was riding my 170i and noticed it was learching under steady throttle. When I got home I took a quick look and noticed gear oil all over the rear wheel (pic). I recently did a gear oil change and did what the mechanic told me to do and that was to "warm up the engine then drive it a round the block" I then drained the gear oil and filled with 90cc of new.
After getting home I drained the gear oil and measured what came out and it added up to 115cc. I then refilled it with 90cc of new.
Was the problem an overfill?
Will it leak again if it has the correct amount in it?
Should I try and ride it to see if the problem has gone away or take it the dealer?

Many of us use various types of syringes (mine is a flavor injector from the grocery store with surgical tubing on the end) to extract gear oil and measure what we remove. Then we refill exactly the same amount we took out.
As you've seen, you usually won't get it all out via the drain plug and small amounts of overflow are still problematic. The syringe comes pretty close.

Yep, as the others have said, it sounds like you've overfilled.
Mixmizer is originally intended to measure out 2 cycle oil, but it comes in very handy for CVT gearboxes because it comes with a nozzle extender (measure the oil without the extra tube, add the extra tube, then inject).
It's also handy for it's original purpose of measuring out 2T oil for premixing.
It's cheap too!
