Deadline to enter is Oct 31st 2007. Drawing on or about Nov 15th.
They are going to call me to tell me I won one on or about Nov 30th

Ellen, we are in the same group of states. You have competition.

I've already entered friends from Ohio and have made it quite clear to them, that if they win, they will be the proud new owner of a gently used Orange Buddy and I get the SI.

Seriously though, it would be sweet if someone from this forum won.

We are in LUCKY magazine's June edition, on pages 26 and 187. The production company of new television show "THE STARTER WIFE," with DEBRA MESSING, puchased a bunch of pink Buddy's to PLUG the new TV show. They will be running around LA and NYC all summer...THINK PINK!!! Lucky prints over 500,000 copies, so there a LOTS of prospective customers seeing our bikes!

but i can't figure out how to enter/sign up! has anybody else tried to?

I think that contest has been over for a while—the scoots have all been given away.

it's odd that not a single person who won the scooter (if i remember correctly they gave away a bunch of the pink buddy 50) has found his/her way to this forum

I'm not sure the Lucky magazine readers or Starter Wife viewers are necessarily the types who would win a scooter then flock to an online forum... Most of the people who have won scooters in various contests and have wound up here or on MV have been those who really wanted one before entering to win.

Of course, we also have 432 members who have joined MB and never posted... And hundreds more who only have once or twice.

it says "on or about" Nov 15 - that leaves them some wiggle room, but I expect to hear the good news about my winning the scooter any day now

They must have revised the website since you last read it. Now it says, "Potential winner will be notified by e-mail, mail or phone on or about 11/30/07." Fifteen more days of finding a place to store your new Buddy for the winter....
